Sick, Cloud Pictures

I am sick. Coughing a lot, even with cough medicine. My nose is leaking a lot. I am tired. Cold. And hot. I should have realized sooner, but that is something I have a lot of trouble with. I think, considering the past week, that I have been sick since last Sunday.

What finally made me realize I was sick was noticing that many more people at school and on the bus were coughing and sneezing and blowing their noses. The patterns of those activities did not match the usual ones. There was an increase in both number of people doing these things and the frequency for individuals. That is when I realized I might be sick too.

It would be useful for me to notice sooner. But I almost never do. It was only yesterday that I started doing the things I am supposed to do when sick.
