... often take me a while to make a decision on and finally buy the item. For example, this electric heated vest that I am buying either today or tomorrow has been something I've been thinking about (or perhaps a better word is agonizing about) for over a year.
Part of the delay for the electric vest is my thinking that it is just being cold, nothing serious. Except, "just cold" here has involved riding in below-freezing temperatures for over an hour at a time. I can feel my core body temperature dropping, and the resulting disorientation and mental confusion is nothing to dismiss out of hand. It isn't just being uncomfortable anymore.
Buying it later does not make any difference financially, now is as good a month as any other would be. I have even talked to J. and asked him if he thought it was a good idea
Yet I am still thinking it over. I just do not know if it is exactly right, and it is too much money for me to make a mistake. I have looked at over a hundred different electric heated items in the past year, and read hundreds of reviews for some of the more popular items. I have even contacted the manufacturers of various heated vests and gotten responses from most of them (email is a wonderful invention!).
Anyway, the vest and battery pack has been purchased now, and it should arrive by the end of this week. I am not terribly excited about it, but it will be fun to see how it works.
I know how hard it can be to figure out the best choice, especially when there are so many options and opinions out there. Glad you found one that sounds like it will last a long time and do what you need.
ReplyDeleteI saw some great pictures of snow and ice on trees and other things at another blog today and thought you might like to see them. Here's the link: Snow Day.
I like snow, and frosty crystals, it's so pretty. Those were very pretty pictures of snow. More snow than was here. It snowed today but none of it stayed, it all melted already. It's supposed to snow again even more than it did in my snow pictures here http://www.flickr.com/photos/akari_blue1/sets/72157625662926599/ later this week but hopefully not on Thursday because I have to go to school then.
ReplyDeleteI liked your pictures. Ceres is adorable, and the heart in the snow was really neat! Hope school goes well tomorrow.
